Terms of Service

Last updated: February 10, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before engaging our services. By using our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and The Narrative Guild ("we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website (thenarrativeguild.com) and our professional coaching services, workshops, and educational programs (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing the Site or using our Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using our Site and Services and must discontinue use immediately. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our Services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Services

The Narrative Guild provides high-end communication training, including one-on-one executive coaching, group storytelling workshops, and corporate public speaking seminars. Our Services are designed to help professionals improve their narrative structure, vocal presence, and emotional connection with their audience.

The specific details of each program, including curriculum, duration, and pricing, are outlined on our Services page. We strive for accuracy in our descriptions, but we reserve the right to modify our course content and delivery methods to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for our clients.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided as part of our Services, including but not limited to training manuals, proprietary frameworks (such as our "Three Pillars" methodology), video lectures, templates, and feedback reports, is the exclusive intellectual property of The Narrative Guild. This content is protected by copyright and trademark laws in the United States and internationally.

When you enroll in our programs, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our materials for your own personal and professional development. You may not:

  • Reproduce, redistribute, or sell our proprietary materials to third parties.
  • Use our frameworks or content to train others or create a competing coaching service.
  • Remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices from our materials.
  • Record our live sessions or workshops without our express written permission.

4. Payment and Enrollment

Enrollment in our Services is confirmed only upon receipt of the full payment or an agreed-upon deposit. All fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are subject to change. We use secure third-party payment processors (such as Stripe) and do not store your full financial information on our servers.

If you are enrolling on behalf of a corporation or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms. For corporate engagements, the specific payment terms outlined in your custom service agreement will take precedence over these general Terms.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We are committed to providing exceptional value, but we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policies are as follows:

  • One-on-One Coaching: Sessions must be rescheduled or cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full session rate.
  • Group Workshops: A full refund (less a 10% administrative fee) is available for cancellations made 14 or more days before the start date. For cancellations made between 7 and 13 days prior, we offer a 50% credit toward a future workshop. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date.
  • Online Courses: Due to the digital nature of our self-paced courses, all sales are final once access to the course platform has been granted.

6. Confidentiality and Conduct

The Narrative Guild maintains a safe and supportive environment for all participants. In group settings, you may be exposed to the personal or professional stories of other clients. You agree to maintain the strict confidentiality of all information shared by other participants during our workshops and coaching sessions.

We reserve the right to terminate your participation in any Service if you engage in behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or violates our confidentiality standards. In the event of such termination, no refund will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

Our Services are for educational and professional development purposes. While our methodology is proven to improve communication skills, we make no guarantees regarding specific professional or financial outcomes, such as securing a job, winning a pitch, or raising investment capital. Your success depends on your own efforts, practice, and the context of your specific industry.

In no event shall The Narrative Guild or its coaches be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or reliance on our training materials. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific Service in question.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
